DirectX10 2D
During the DirectX10 2D unit we worked in groups of two to make a 2D pinball game. I worked with Cameron MacCarthur to complete this project in four days. Unfortunately with the amount of time given we could not implement all features. Our game was not exactly a "pinball" game but more of a mix-up of "Peggle" and "Plinko".

Apple Mobile
This game was created in a group of four, we had 2 weeks to design and program. It was created using C++ using the DragonFireSDK. The team consisted of Maxim Oufaev, Shawn Wilkinson, Cameron MacCarthur, and Myself.There are # power-ups and # traps that appear on screen as well tap these icons to receive its ?effect?.
The main concept of the game is to use two side button on the iPhone or iPad to navigate an ice cube down holes through platforms which rise from the bottom of the screen to avoid being melted by the sun at the the top of the screen.
For this assignment I worked on the Design and the Art, but towards the end I ran out of time and used some clip art for the power ups and traps.

Windows Mobile
The Windows Mobile project was one of the funnest projects I worked on in school. We worked as a team of eight to make five games in a month. The team consisted of Thomas Beckett, Robert Howard, Chris Arnold, Cameron MacCarthur, Shawn Wilkinson, Chris Cagnati, Maxim Oufaev, and Myself.
I was in charge of doing the design of the game screens and some artwork for the games themselves. I created most assets for Castle Defender and Nursing Home Escape. The other three titles in game assets were done by Chris Cagnati.
I was lucky to have my game picked to be one of the five we were going to program in the month. My game was Nursing Home Escape. It's a simple 2D side scrolling game where you must tap the screen to make an old man jump his wheelchair over obstacles on the sidewalk. Each obstacle you hit sends you closer to the nurse chasing you. After three hits your caught! Fortunately there is medicine flying throughout the streets you can collect to regain your distance from the nurse.

Advanced 2D Flash
Advanced Flash was another project where I worked on art assets and game screens. This game was done in a group of three in two weeks. The team consisted of Maxim Oufaev, Chris Cagnati, and myself. All art assets aside from the boat navigation screen and Pillaging Pete himself was done by me. The main concept for "Pillaging Petes Chest Quest" was to navigate the seas on your ship and pillage islands to become the most feared pirate on the seas. Unfortunately not all features of the game were implemented with the time frame we had so as of now the game is incomplete. As of now the features im-plemented are navigate the ocean to various bodies of land. Once inside the game world your job is to navigate the level destroying enemies in your way and collecting a treasure chest at the end. After the treasure chest is collected your returned to the navigation screen.

Unity 3D
During the Unity3D course we worked by ourselves to create a 3D game. I decided to make a 3D Goblin Hunter game. In this game you play as a giant troll who must squish as many goblins in the village as possible within the amount of time given. This game was designed and developed in about two weeks

Level Design with Hammer
During the Level Design Course we worked with the Hammer SDK to create playable levels for most Source and Valve powered video games. I decided to create a multi-player Counter-Strike Source level. The level i designed I named MoneyHouse. The basic inspiration for this level was a money stash house for a well known organized crime syndicate. This level took me around a week to design and build. Unfortunately I couldnt figure out a way to load in my own textures so I was stuck with using the Hammer SDK model set.
XNA 2D Galaga Remake
For our XNA 2D course we worked alone from what we learned in class and from our text books to create a clone of the "Classic" game "Galaga". The galaga clone took two weeks to create and was a blast while doing so.

Programming with C++ Part2
In Part II of C++ Programming our project was to make a text based poker game or recreate your text based game from Part I. I decided to add on to Bum Wars, I called this game Bum Wars 2 point 0. In the remake I added a character selection menu as well as a weapon menu. Other than that the game still has the same concept.

Programming with C++ Part1
During the programming with C++ unit our project was to create a text based video game. Designing the text based game was difficult. I had tons of ideas floating around in my head but none were suitable for a text based game. I finally decided to create Bum Wars a text based fighting simulator. This game was implemented in about a week. Our next project was to create a text based card game but I decided to expand upon Bum Wars.

Mario Flash Prototype
During our Prototyping course our project was to recreate a Super Mario Bros. 3 level in teams of three. Our team chose to recreate the first fortress. We also recreated the match game. I was in charge of the "Match Game", enemy animation, and the boss encounter.
